FOUNDER & MANAGING DIRECTOR
With over 30-years experience leading complex, multi-channel organizations for some of the top brands and retailers, Jeff is experienced in driving business strategy, supply chain and operations, technology and Omni-channel retailing. Leadership roles for global organizations in growth, change management and turnaround capacities, for B2C and B2B businesses. He led strategic M&A transactions as Operating Partner at Marlin Equity, a middle market investment firm that acquires and manages businesses, with over $6 billion of capital under management. He was responsible for leading the firm’s investments in the consumer sector. Jeff is based in Los Angeles.
Christian is a global leader with over 30-years of experience. His core strengths are strategic planning, marketing, ecommerce, finance, technology and operations. Experience includes leading numerous retail brands in turnaround and growth. Led successful M&A efforts in more than ten retail brands, combined sales of over $1.5 billion, combined EBITDA improvement of over $100 million. Experienced in raising debt at time of acquisition; rational understanding on applying leverage to a business. Christian has been successful in identifying attractive targets and post-acquisition initiatives to improve performance. Christian is based in New York.
Yuen is an investment and strategy professional. He has been advising clients in strategic acquisitions, investments, and international partnerships for nearly two decades. His career has included leadership roles in Tokyo and Hong Kong with Morgan Stanley, Citicorp and UBS. His client engagements have been in the technology, retail, and business services sectors. Yuen is based in Los Angeles.
Chris Schreiber translates 30 years of strategy, product development, supply chain, human capital and IT execution into maximum client success. Chris is a holistic thinker, seasoned operator, effective leader advisor and team builder. Her industry experience spans from retail with Federated Department Stores, development through production inside fast-fashion brands, into end to end strategy and global supply chain leadership with Quiksilver. She has implemented SAP, several PLM tools, B2B, Sales Force, Integrated Planning and Forecasting and BI. Chris is currently a Managing Partner at Tributary West. Chris is based in Los Angeles.
CHIEF DIGITAL SCIENTIST
John is a General Manager and Chief Digital/Marketing Officer with 20+ years of transformation experience across a wide range of industries and geographies. He leads businesses with no digital presence or those who need to dramatically improve their digital presence. He has also actively operated businesses from start-ups to $250M+. John has more than a decade of experience managing portfolio companies and creating strategic synergies across the portfolio. John’s role will focus primarily on diligence and post-acquisition digital and marketing transformation. He earned his MBA from the Wharton School. John is based in Indianapolis.
Jimmy has over 30-years experience leading Asian manufacturing and supply chain operations for some of the apparel industry’s leading brands. He has held senior leadership roles at Kellwood Company, Oxford Industries, Smart Shirts HK and Li & Fung. His role with Go Global will include working closely with our strategic investors from the industry to align their core capabilities with the product needs of our acquisitions. Jimmy is based in Hong Kong.
MARKETING CREATIVE DIRECTOR
An Advertising, Marketing and Video professional with extensive experience helping clients in a variety of industries, Jeff brings over 30 years of creative expertise to our team. Highly adept in the creation of content in virtually any media, Jeff has created award-winning work at well-known advertising agencies like TBWA Chiat/Day and Saatchi & Saatchi. He has built multidisciplinary in-house marketing teams at tech start ups, as well as creating his own, highly-regarded video production company, Industrious Films, LLC. Jeff is based in Los Angeles.
Dhyana van der Pols
Dhyana has over 20 years experience connecting the dots for front and back offices of leading European brands and retailers. She is consumer-centric, versed in fashion technology, smart manufacturing, and an expert in sustainability. Dhyana has been been able to successfully develop and implement brand strategy across the athletic, luxury and fast fashion markets in Europe. Her strong business acumen includes projects such as helping brands to reconnect with their heritage with repositioning, fast tracking with inventory solutions, cycle time reductions whilst elevating gross margins and remediating factories to state of art due diligence, sustainability and CSR performance. Dhyana is The Netherlands.
Robin has over 20 years experience of retail in China. He worked with several global retailers to help them expand into the Chinese market or improve their operation. His career has included leadership roles at Cushman, Costa Coffee and Carrefour. He has deep experience in multi-channel retail (online/offline) along with successful implementation of new media tools and big data projects. Robin is based in Shanghai.
CHIEF DIGITAL SCIENTIST
A Digital Scientist, Thoryn is a prominent business and web analytics professional with expertise in complex data problem solving, data architecture, consumer insights, Omni-channel, retail analytics, recommendations and systems development. With 15-years of management experience, he is responsible for growth and strategic development within companies such as American Apparel, Fox Networks, and Amgen. His documented skill in analyzing user behavior data produces actionable results across a variety of platforms and applications. Thoryn has a degree in molecular and cell biology, with multiple scientific publications. His work has led efforts in cardiovascular and infectious disease drug development. Thoryn is based in Los Angeles.
Carlton’s 30 year career to date has been spent designing, building and structuring corporate operations around the globe. His situational expertise in distress and turnaround stretches from pure advisory roles as a Big 4 Corporate Finance Partner to the day to day delivery and implementation of strategic plans. Carlton leads multi-disciplinary teams encompassing client personnel throughout to secure turnaround and deliver growth across the business spectrum.
Retail experiences include supply side management, negotiations with multiple retailers and syndicated bank debt as well as supporting fashion tech startups and immature e-commerce operations. Carlton is based in London.
Cary has over 35 years experience as a supply chain and sourcing executive in the apparel and retail industry. His career has included leadership roles in Singapore, Hong Kong and New York with Kellwood Company. As President of Nuasia Consultants, LLC he has developed strategic partnerships for Destination Maternity, Lilly Pulitzer, Rachel Roy, Charming Shoppes and Torrid. Cary is based in Orange County, CA.
CHIEF DATA OFFICER
Shah Karim is an expert on customer engagement, improving shareholder value, Big Data, and retail. For more than 20 years, Shah has guided retailers and corporations on profit improvement, cost reduction, and technology. His enterprise systems have improved ROI performance, Big Data analytics, personal learning, and content management. Shah has researched and spoken on Big Data and Customer Engagement at Citi Research (Retail Equities), Yale University, and presented to numerous Fortune 500 clients. Shah is based in New York.
LuAnn is an experienced CEO, with leadership roles at Christopher & Banks, Payless, Lane Bryant, Cacique and Catherine’s. She has led growth in both the Retail and Wholesale channels. Her background includes business Product Development, Global Sourcing, Production, Marketing and E Commerce and Omni Channel. LuAnn will be involved in both commercial diligence and post-acquisition initiatives. LuAnn is based in Atlanta.
Dan is one of the apparel industry’s more accomplished supply chain leaders. A global veteran with engineering skills and deep knowledge in fibers, fabrics and all phases of manufacturing for all sewn garment products. He has managed transition and growth VF Corp. and Walmart. Dan’s role would be to work with our strategic investors and our acquired brand / asset to align the core manufacturing capabilities for optimal efficiencies. Dan is based in New York.
Paolo is an industry veteran with over 40-years experience in the apparel sector. He began his career in Florence with Sears, Roebuck & Company. His senior leadership with May Company crossed the globe with managerial positions in Italy, India, Korea, Japan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, St Louis (Venture Stores) and Hong Kong. Paolo’s European and Asian network will enhance Go Global as we build the capabilities of our platform for the benefits of our investors and the acquired assets. Paolo is based in Rome, Italy.
Alex is a digital strategist for developing and executing on global marketplace commerce. Has led retailers in technology, online and DTC transformation and growth. Focuses on enhancing brand perception, while finding additional revenue through social channels. Alex has deep experience leading growth in Retail, Wholesale and Online channels. Alex is based in Los Angeles.
